When my students come in for the day and read our schedule, they always gasp with surprise and excitement when they see that Art is our specialist for the day. We have an amazing art teacher at our school, but my students only get to visit her once a week.
I want my students to be able to express their creativity more than just once a week for 40 minutes. My class is always the most enthralled when we're doing an art project. You could hear a pin drop when they had the chance to experience blending oil pastels. They ooh and ahh in wonder when they see gorgeous watercolor spread across their paper. These art supplies engage and interest my students, but are too costly for me to provide on my on dime. With your support, my students will have the chance to show their creativity more often than before!
