This experiment will allow students to create their own flashlight! This activity will allow each student to explore electricity and better understand the concepts behind how electricity works. It will allow for students to participate in a hands-on activity that will not only be exciting but educational! We will be using a website that has a video about this concept which will help students follow directions (a much needed skill) in order to create their own flashlight. These materials cost more than I am allotted for science supplies and I don't personally have the funds to pay for this for 96 children. I can just see them now! Lighting up our world.

About my class
