Secondary education expects students to come to them with the skills necessary to use technology and more importantly in mathematics, the use of a graphing calculator.
The new TI-84+ CE graphing calculators have the latest technology which will allow students to collect and input unlimited data sets, and do complicated calculations accurately and efficiently. This is all part of the higher level mathematics that is currently required of our students.
In addition, my Probability and Statistics students will be able to conduct experiments right there on their calculators (rolling dice, picking cards from a deck, etc). How fun is that?!
