We need need math journals, markers, white boards, dry erase markers, and hooks. Students will use math journals from Teachers' School Supply. Students will draw math concepts using their math journals. Math journal are extremely beneficials for our students because they can figure out their own thinking process and how they can learn better. Using colorful diagrams, they can visualize their learning and they can go back and use them as references. They will also be using white boards so they can practice what they are learning during math class.
If students can write their thinking, and analyze the mathematical process in their journal, they can internalize it and be able to recall the information better.
