A carpet for these kindergarteners will allow them to participate in circle time and whole group meetings where they can talk, pair and share together! They will have the opportunity to get out of their chairs and have a different place to learn something new. We can read stories, talk about phonics and even do some music and movement with a carpet in our classroom!
With this carpet, students will be able to create a different learning space for gaining knowledge instead of just sitting at their desks!
Kindergarteners are eager and young learners who can definitely benefit from other seating options during their day! Keeping them moving around and designating new spaces for certain learning makes it more fun and engaging!
