I teach at a Title I school, most of these students live below the poverty line. Their parents are unable to replenish their school supplies throughout the year. These supplies will be available to those students who don't have pencils and line paper at home. Composition notebooks and binders will be used for each subject. Students need at least 5 composition notebooks and one to two binders along with uniforms and shoes. Some parents are just not in the position to buy all the required supplies needed for third grade. This project will help me as an educator so I won't have to continue purchasing supplies throughout the year with my income.
