One of my favorite times of the day is when I read aloud a book or 2 to the kids. I love getting into, and bringing the story to life through the kids' imaginations. Having a consistent reading place with the kids each day, having their own spot, will make our reading time together that much more enjoyable. The donations for this project will not only bring smiles to their faces but instill a love for reading that will last a lifetime. When they have independent reading time the Fishing For Literacy carpet will be a favorite spot and it will be their turn to bring a story to life through their own words, fluency, and expression.

About my class
