This is my first year teaching, and I have the privileged of teaching advanced students who come from very low income families. They deserve the best experience to allow them to keep growing as mathematicians, citizens, and most importantly, kids.
These materials will allow my students to have a hands-on and engaging year where they will gain a deeper understand of the content while relating the topics to their own lives. This accelerated course will provide time to explore areas they are interested in. I will assist them, and teach them creative ways to share their knowledge.
The excitement these materials will bring to my students, can not be expressed, but it will be shown through their learning, and deep understanding of the the curriculum.
