When you hear the word math what is the first thing that comes to mind? Probably not exciting not fun. Help me change my students perception of math. Help them to learn why math is necessary for life and how it can be enjoyable. I would like to use these games and manipulatives to help the kids see math in a new way to help bridge the understanding between Concepts on the page and real life application. I also want to create a colorful fun learning environment that is engaging to their senses. I plan to start each class with the Mantra, "I love math!".
