Students will explore various printmakers and printmaking techniques to enhance their creative skills. We will study, discuss and compare/contrast works of Durer, Hokusai, Warhol and other artists. The scratch foal printmaking class pack and water soluble ink will help my students to apply knowledge on printmaking they gain to create their own prints, and this process will deepen their understanding and appreciation of printmaking. Students will be encouraged to choose their own subjects and styles to help finding their artistic identity. My students have not have much opportunities to explore the world of printmaking, and I believe they will enjoy this new art making process greatly. I am looking forward to seeing what my students will create!

About my class
