Having durable headphones in our Kindergarten classroom will enable students to focus closely on their task at hand. Each year, my students come to me being between the ages of 4 and 5 years old. These curious little hands have trouble keeping small, fragile headphones on and safe for multiple uses. With this said, these Sony Over-the-Ear Headphones are exactly what we need in our classroom.
The donations to this project will enhance my students' focus and improve their skills across our curriculum. We use iPads throughout the day for multiple subjects in close quarters. Having the headphones would lessen the amount of distractions when working on things such as retelling stories, read alouds for our English Language Learners, solving math problems, and learning about weather patterns.
