The Chromebooks will give students access to resources and information to improve their reading levels in order to close the achievement gap. They will be used side by side with texts that we read in class so that the students can access supplemental supports to help them better understand what they are reading. This technology will allow me to implement more student-based activities and learning, as well as small group work. They will also be able to access reading programs like Achieve3000, which will increase their reading level drastically. My students are so close to achieving success, and with the help of technology, they can improve on their weaknesses.
