This year I am teaching structured literacy to our youngest students. Our students need to move to learn and be engaged. I don't have enough appropriate alternative seating options for them: balance is an issue for them with our yoga balls. A trial run proved yoga balls were not conducive for our work!
The children love these stools! I'd be thrilled to have one for each child in my small Wilson reading group. Legs and feet that like to move will appreciate the bands on desk legs. And the reader strips will help students stay on track as we tackle reading words, sentences and passages.
These items will mean every child can feel comfortable, focused and ready for learning.
