Teaching in an inclusion classroom is such a great experience. Finding ways to help my students learn how to enjoy school and develop a love for learning is a great feeling. Being able to give them an option of flexible seating is one way to help some of my students who struggle with high levels of energy or maybe even ADHD. Being able to allow some movement during learning time will actually allow my students to remain focused during the work time.
My students will be offered opportunities to use both stand up desk centers and hokki stools during work time. Being able to focus on the work instead of containing their energy will give them a better chance of grasping the material and being successful!
