Engagement in the learning process is critical to learning and retaining information. The items that are included in this project will help students learn through inquiry and maintain their attention throughout the lesson.
Our Glow in the Dark Math Afternoon will consist of the room being transformed in to a different dimension with multiple black lights and glow in the dark items. Students will work through stations to review and learn new skills with their UV pens. At another station, students will us the glow in the dark ball and the "toss it" game to solve data problems. Working hard, doing your best, and having fun are rewarded, because students need to complete their packet for an additional glow stick!
