My students spend a lot of time and put their heart and soul into creating assignments and projects for math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. It's wonderful to see even my unmotivated students get so excited about their finished projects. For this reason, these special creations need to be preserved as ever lasting third grade memories to remind themselves in the future that "I can be successful in life. After all, look at what I did when I was in third grade!"
It breaks my heart when a student comes to tearfully show me the project that he/she put so much effort into but minutes later it got torn.
If my students work was laminated, this would preserve their inspirational projects and eliminate student tears. No longer would students come to me with destroyed art work and broken hearts. Now, laminated work can be tucked into backpacks to safely arrive home for parents to admire and keep for many years to come.
Your donation toward a classroom laminator and film pouches will preserve and protect a child's school memory.
