Students enjoy and love reading books. Big books are used during small group and whole group throughout the day. It could be a way to enhance our science lesson or a way to practice how to be a good reader by thinking metacognitively and/or practicing our decodables. With this easel, students will get an easier access to our big books and will enjoy them to its fullest by being able to prop up their book and turn the pages with ease. Students will also be able to practice spelling some of the words they found in the text on the whiteboard/magnetic board underneath during centers.
