Many of the students have limited access to educational technology to continue learning at home which is why we would like to provide these opportunities at school. These tablets will open up their creative minds through engagement in technology.
They will be accessing books that they can listen to and read at their reading level through the RAZ kids program. The ESL students will be able to listen to and/or read books in their native language. They can create projects using the camera for videos and STEM.
They will be practicing high frequency words through the use of QR codes where they can hear the correct pronunciation of the word and write it. In math they will have opportunities to engage in foundational skill practice.
