The novel The Hate You Give, will help my students learn about real world issues all while relating to the the characters within the novel. Many novels featured in our library are limited when it comes to diversity in ethnicity and background. By purchasing this novel for my students, they will be able to have a reading experience they have never had before; one that is both diverse and relatable. It will help feed their passion and ignite their love for reading. The chairs will provide my students with an opportunity to read and learn in a space that is flexible to their needs. Desks do not work for all students.
