We use bells, glockenspiels, or boom whackers in the classroom daily to reinforce concepts. We write music, perform music, create music, and learn music. But we do not have enough instruments for everyone to participate at the same time. Students willing share, but some students have a difficult time staying focused while waiting for partners to finish.
More classroom instruments like glockenspiels and desk bells will keep every student engaged all of the time creating a fun, productive classroom environment. Students will leave feeling positive and accomplished. They will return excited and anticipating the music they will get to explore and create using the instruments that you have provided.
