Student learning is enhanced through authentic problem-solving and hands-on work which robotics and coding emphasize. The materials including the Rokit Smart Robot purchased through this program will facilitate our ability to bring these robotic materials and software into the classroom and enhance our ability to support and develop authentic STEM related curriculum in our middle school. The Rokit Smart robots provide an excellent opportunity to vary the complexity of engineering challenges and will enable me to reach all student learning levels in my class. We use to have a STEM Robotics class at our school and students loved the class and the engineering challenges that came within the curriculum. Unfortunately, we lost program funding and are in desperate need of robotic materials that are a focus of the class.
