Being a first-year contracted teacher I have very limited supplies. I was given many supplies when I graduated college which was so amazing. Rather than taking a contract I was a long-term substitute where I student taught. I became a substitute and ended up using my supplies rather than the school supplies because I felt that was what I needed to do. Other teachers would try and give me their things and I would not use them because I knew they needed them deep down. I am basically starting fresh with supplies and I would love to give my students the supplies they need for a successful school year. I know that parents can send their child in with supplies but I want them to have to give as little supplies as possible. I know parents are busy, they work and I want to make their lives as easy I can. My students are my world and my eyes only see them and nothing else. I want to give these third and fourth-grade special education kids all my love and attention I have in my body. Thank you so much in advance for reading my story!! All my love.
