In my class students learn several programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. The first three are easy to put to use when we build a website. Python, however, is a bit more difficult. However, with these drones, my students will now be able to apply Python to a real world use. My students will be able to build and program the drones as well as the remote to complete certain tasks. These drones also provide a great opportunity to be hands-on with their programming. To have my students witness the use of Python will help develop the passion towards computer science more than simply building a website.
