Being that the majority of my students come from low-income families, having technology at home is a lot harder than it sounds. My students having access to these Amazon Fire tablets in the classroom will give them the opportunity to learn in a more personalized way. I truly believe it will lead my students in becoming more engaged in their learning and on the path of becoming leaders of their own learning. It will also allow them to become more fluent with technology which will definitely benefit them in their future.
Recieving these tablets I have asked for will allow my students to learn from different math learning apps and partcipate in engaging learning experiences using resources such as Kahoot, Plickers, and Google Classroom.
