Having additional iPads in the classroom will assist in my students' learning by giving them a window to the outside world. For example, starting this semester, we will begin researching animals and their habitats around the world. There are many apps that could greatly enhance the learning through videos and nonfictional texts that can be read to the student. We are also beginning to read independently. Having additional iPads would mean more students could have help reading text outside reading to me. And then there’s math. So many additional resources could be attainable to give extra practice and examples. Being able to put technology in the children’s hands will better prepare them for their future.
