I love art! I hear so much about schools cutting art programs due to funding. This makes me sad so I want to give my students the opportunity to expand their creativity through art. I currently do 1 art project a week with my students and try to use a variety of materials but I am purchasing a lot of these items with my own money. I would love to continue these art projects and would appreciate the help in obtaining these supplies!
One project example uses the canvases.
I have the students use their thumbprints to create a heart and then I write a poem below that for Mother's Day!
I also asked for dabbers, which I use to help students create pictures, practice shapes for math, and even use them to mark answers in reading and math games.
I am always in need of basic art supplies, so I asked for class sets of them so that students can have access to these materials when they run out.
My students and parents love how creative these projects are and appreciate my effort.
I love having my students create art projects using different art materials such as cotton balls, felt, watercolors, glitter, bingo dabbers, construction paper, oil pastels, etc. The students get the opportunity to expand their minds and get the feel art past just crayons and markers. By kindergarten, they are ready to learn more and I love exposing them to more.
