Having these tablets in my classroom would provide my students with an engaging and differentiated reading experience to enhance our Daily 5 reading centers. By utilizing the tablets camera, students will be able to scan QR codes that are linked to SafeTube video books. Not only will this experience enhance high level readers, but for those struggling readers, it will help to instill that love of reading to propel them forward in their own reading journey. ELL students would also benefit from a listening to reading center. With these tablets, my students will not only have access to the books in our classroom library, but also, many more online books.
