Our students thrive on the Visual Arts!
I have 520 Pre-K through 5th grade students who come from our highly diverse community. As a Title I school we deal with the effects of being in a low income area on a daily basis. Right now is even more difficult with COVID and full online learning. To be honest we are hurting. My students not only need to be prepared for classes such as Art but also need to have supplies as an outlet for their creativity during these difficult times. As I said, they thrive on the Arts and beg to come back to our "real Art Room". My students desire normalcy in their school day and I want to help make that happen.
