Students will be able to learn and practice taking vital signs at home. They will take part in simulated practicum experiences through our synchronous online classroom as they learn how to measure and record blood pressure, listen to and interpret a patient’s heart rhythm, auscultation lung sounds and differentiate between normal and abnormal findings, and determine bowel sounds. This will prepare the students to take care of their patients during clinical rotations at Danbury Hospital and seek employment at area health care facilities such as our hospitals and nursing homes.

About my class
