Students have been building the courage and confidence to share during math discourse. Students who believed "they could not do math" have seen they are fully capable of being mathematicians.
I want my students to understand their importance of their voice. Using the Qball will allow them that platform to voice their knowledge and understanding in a new and engaging way.
We will use the Qball when sharing during mathematical discourse and philosophical debates. Students will be able to share how they solves problems and the strategies they used. During philosophical debates students will be able to share their informed opinion(s) and the supporting evidence behind their beliefs.
