I believe it is important for students to be responsible for their learning. Flexible seating will give kindergarten students a choice in where they want to sit. As we move throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to choose different options depending on their needs and the activity. With the sensory input of some of the options, students will be more comfortable and better able to stay focused. Hopefully the flexible seating will foster new learning partnerships and friendships that will lead to better collaboration and cooperation as we embark on our path to becoming college and career ready.

About my class
