When I am able to use non-traditional seating in the classroom, my students will be able to take the focus off of them and focus on learning. Flexible seating will allow them to have fun AND be focused. Using the kinds of seating I have specified will allow these sweet kiddos to learn in the classroom. The different kinds of chairs that I have specified will allow wiggly kids to stay wiggly, but still learn and focus. The rug will allow me to have an area in my classroom that will function as a reading area, again allowing for the use of different kinds of seating. I will also use tall, and shortened tables to meet their needs.
