When school starts few students are excited about Chemistry, but most are already intimidated because they think it's going to be hard. I tell them I can make Chemistry EASY and FUN and I am doing my best thorough the year to keep my promise.
The Post-it and markers are very useful with group projects. Colored projects where students can collaborate are always fun. Once I took the projects on the hallways and asked each group to grade each other. It was a fun day when we did Chemistry on the hallways.
Snacks are necessary to give them the little energy they might need at times to keep them focused. Almost every day a student is asking for food and I appreciate the trust they have in me, but I can't always feed them, so please help. Thank you!
