Picture students sitting at the 5 round tables with their supplies and Chromebooks ready to be used. Instead of rows of antiquated individual desks where students' material (and their growing bodies) cannot fit comfortably without Chromebooks, binders, pencils crashing to the floor, round tables in the classroom will give students an area to work comfortably, sharing space and ideas.
Further, today's classroom accentuates the collaborative sharing of ideas which will be greatly enhanced by group work at round tables where 4 or 5 students can work together. Round tables will also facilitate learning stations for review sessions and kinesthetic learning.
