I am a first year teacher in 2nd grade and I need a few items to help give my students a homey and functional space for learning. The room I am coming into does not have a classroom rug for whole group instruction and needs more functional solutions to organize student supplies. We have tables in our classroom, which is great for working in groups. However, we are lacking in storage for the students supplies because of it. I would also love to give my students the option to work around the room. I strongly believe students need flexible seating options and the only thing holding me back is the financial cost. Therefore, I am hoping to obtain clipboards for them so they can work around the room. Additionally, the supply caddies will allow student to take the supplies around the room with them. We are also short a few personal whiteboards and would like to have a full class set. Anything donated will go a long way towards helping students feel at home in the classroom and improve learning outcomes as well as functionality.
