Technology in classrooms can enhance a student's learning exponentially. At this time, my class of 25 first graders, only has access to 13 Chrome books. There are times that this creates a very distracting learning environment for the 12 other students who are not able to use technology at the same time as their peers.
Help me bring equity into my classroom by getting a Chromebook in every students' hands.
If I was able to provide each student with their own Chromebook, their learning would be limitless and endless. Instilling an empowerment that they can independently verbalize their thinking with a selfie-movie video, showcase STEM ideas, think critically and create from their thinking, is powerful and exciting. 1st grade is not too young for each student to create and manage their own electronic learning portfolio! Kids are naturally curious and it's amazing to watch them figure out technology on their own. Please consider making that a reality for all of my students, not just half of my class.
