During reading block all of my scholars want to find quiet spots around the room to read. The problem is we only have a carpet where everyone migrates and it becomes a big mess. With flexible sitting they will be allowed to find comfortable places around our room to enjoy their stories and biographies. This will help my scholars build their stamina. They will be able to read in peace and have their own personal space to do so. The goal in our classroom is to build and foster life long readers. This starts by allowing scholars to have the autonomy to choose where and what they read.

About my class
