For my Donors Choose project I have chosen items such as puzzles, blocks, and letter and number activities. Using these materials will allow my students to work hands on at each of the centers placed throughout our classroom. Centers allow students to grow and learn, while also having fun doing so. They can express themselves and find what they enjoy the most. These centers are what keeps the classroom moving, as students will be using the materials at them each day throughout the week. I would love to have a variety of materials for each center so that students can have experience working with a number of different activities and materials. These centers will include: blocks, dramatic play, sensory, math, literacy, writing, and science. The letter and number activities such as the number find and feel sensory tub, alphabet dough mats, and find the letter activity will help my students to learn their alphabet and numbers easier by working hands on identifying letters and numbers. This will be important for when they move up to Kindergarten.
