I've been teaching for 21 years and have noticed more and more students struggle to sit still and focus. I don't blame them! I have a hard time sitting still too! Movement throughout the day stimulates the brain, keeps learning interesting, and facilitates cooperation. I'm requesting Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats, Flex-Space Big Beanbag Seats, Flex-Space Wobble Cushions, and a Flex-Space Balance Ball Seat Bundle. Having these different seating will enable my students to move while sitting and offer them a variety of choice to help those kids with the wiggles to focus. Students will find the type of seat that personally works for their learning needs and can change throughout the day as necessary. This will greatly help with social-emotional needs and classroom community.
