APCS Music aims to foster each student's lifelong appreciation for and skills in the arts by embracing the motto "Engage, Grow, Lead." My students love to sing, play instruments, and express their personal musicality in everything they do! In the past, students have learned to play recorders, ukuleles, Boomwhackers, mallet instruments, brass instruments, keyboards, and bucket drums. In addition, our students enjoy creating music electronically. They jump at every opportunity to create, perform, respond, and connect. Antonia Pantoja Charter School is a bilingual school with instruction in English and Spanish. All students in grades K-8 have music class once or twice per week for at least one trimester. Our students have big hearts and growing minds. They aspire to build community, achieve their greatest potential, and develop as leaders.
