My students need a mobile book cart. Space is limited in my classroom and my students need access to leveled books that suite their reading needs. Due to the mobility of the book cart, we are able to move the cart around the room as well as in the hallway. Students will store their grade level books, mixed genre books, and so many more kinds of text on this mobile and easily assessable mobile book cart. The district I work in uses the reading workshop model and this project will support students going forward with our district goals. Students will also be able to use this cart to take to other classrooms and form book buddies with various grade levels.
