My fourth-grade students are awesome rock stars. The materials I am requesting will meet the needs of my exceptional, diverse, and awesome students.
The printer will provide quick access to up to date materials found online in different capacities to help my students meet their goals. A printer will also strengthen the school to home connection. We will be able to print material just in case a student does not have access to the internet at home to complete assignments such as homework or research projects.
The different journals will engage my students and aid in their success of math and reading skills. The journals will also allow the student to take ownership of their learning. Both the math and reading journals spiral on different areas of instruction within the curriculum. By spiraling to different math concepts, the students gain confidence in their abilities and apply that knowledge to new standards in the class. These journals will be used for both small group instruction as well as independent practice. With those skills, my students will be able to master the curriculum commensurate to their peers.
Our school has a diverse population of excellent learners. My students are rock stars and I want to build on their awesomeness both academically and socially. Any contribution towards this project will be greatly appreciated!
