I took over this classroom late last school year. Unfortunately the teacher who left the room also took almost everything with her. I am attempting to replenish all the necessary items my students need and bring more hands on learning into my classroom by creating math and ELA centers that the Kindergarten students can enjoy.
My students love to work with their hands. Legos for example can be used in some many ways instead of just for building. They can sort the legos by colors, they can count them etc. In Kindergarten one of the main goals that I work on is alphabet knowledge and many of the manipulatives I picked will be very beneficial for them.
