Flexible seating choices help my students with being able to have an option when they want to stay focused, and continue to work hard but need to move. Creativity and and learning increase if we allow students to move more often. In a class of 30 or more room can be tight so using a wobble chair can be a great option.
Engagement increases and disruptions decrease when I am able to give my students a choice of being able to wiggle and not disrupt others.
Students already choose to stand while working and use my counters and bookshelves as support when writing. Having an option of a wobble chair will keep them with their teams while still respecting their need to move.
