Our school is a Title I, inner city school where we have remarkably brave, resilient, and creative students. The students in my classroom come to school each day and learn how to increase their tool box and abilities in learning with emotional and intellectual disabilities. We are a trauma informed classroom and focus on creating a safe space, making good choices, and learning how to regulate emotions. With the proper tools my students and I can establish predictability, routines, and structure. My scholars thrive under routine and with their personal materials and digital camera we can continue to offer many of the same manipulatives we did while in school. Thank you for contributing towards our classroom's success!
