Students will have the opportunity to earn peanut treats when they reach behavior goals inside and outside of the classroom. This includes demonstrating integrity as well as helping others to display correct routines and procedures. It also includes receiving comments from other staff when unnoticed by their teacher. As we build positive relationships, instill values both educationally, and personally, having this reward system will help push all of my students to take what they learned into their homes, and in turn make their community a better place. It will also help one to realize no matter how difficult a situation may be, they are strong, powerful, important, and deserve the best and are to never give up on reaching their goal. The snacks are also beneficial in that when one is not able to receive breakfast, because they arrived late, or are not able to eat their lunch choice, they can look forward to an enjoyable snack. With your help I am able to give my students a brighter day. There's a choice we're making, we're saving our own lives. It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me.
