Education is constantly changing and so are the lives of the students we teach! In my 17 years of education, I have seen an increase in students with special learning needs and more students who have a difficult time focusing. This project will help!
By incorporating flexible seating into our classroom, students will feel empowered by having choices and control of their learning environment! There is a lot of research out there on the positive effects of flexible seating. Unfortunately, the funds are not available for teachers to be given the supplies many students need to aid in their learning. Your contribution will not only allow me to give my students choices for their seating, but will allow them to bounce, wobble and rock their way through learning by increasing oxygen flow and stimulating their sense of touch. They will be able to focus better and process information.
