My students often do not visit a library outside of school and/or do not have anyone to read to them at home. Concepts of print is an important skill at this age. Students will be able to have books in their hand to practice how to hold a book, turn the pages, identifying the title of the book, the roles of the author/illustrator and tracking print.
These books and CDs will be used daily in our Listening Center as part of our reading instruction. Students will also be able to take AR tests on the stories to show how well they comprehended the story as well as listen to fluent reading and read sight words.
