These kids must first be comfortable in their environment before achieving maximum growth. I want to provide my students with multiple options for seating, so that they can see this classroom as a home away from home. Providing them with this added comfort will help them relax, give them clarity, and reduce the stresses that their classroom environments may contribute to their every day lives. IEP tubs will encourage and promote independent work and learning, which is the ultimate goal for all of these kiddos. These tubs will each be filled with differentiated and individualized materials that align with each student's IEP goals. By giving them the tools and environment necessary to do so, my hope is that these kids will feel much more motivated to get into the classroom each day, and get straight to work. Please help me provide my students with this optimal classroom structure! This gift of comfort and independence will help these kids flourish! Thank you for your consideration.
