Working at a low-income school, most of my supplies in the gym are through grants and sometimes personal funding. I want to give my students the knowledge they can take with them to lead a healthy lifestyle. My current equipment is aimed towards my primary grade classes and it makes it difficult to engage my middle school scholars. Through this project, I hope to gain a tumbling mat, spikeball game, folding ear muffs, badminton, and ladder toss game to hopefully gain the interest of my middle school students (which we all know can be a challenge).
All in all, this project is going to be fluid in how I can bring in new ideas throughout the year so we as a school can strive to be the best we can be.
